The congress will take place on the campus of the Eindhoven University of Technology. Eindhoven University of Technology lies at the center of Brainport Eindhoven; the technological heart of the Netherlands, the location of the High Tech Campus, the creative incubator Strijp-S and the Automotive Campus.

Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is a research university specializing in engineering science & technology. The education, research, and knowledge valorization contribute to:

  • science for society: solving the major societal issues and boosting prosperity and welfare by focusing on the Strategic Areas of Energy,  Health and Smart Mobility
  • science for industry: the development of technological innovation in cooperation with industry
  • science for science: progress in engineering sciences through excellence in key research cores and innovation in education


The Auditorium has 16 lecture rooms varying in size along with the Blauwe Zaal, the Senaatszaal, the Voorhof, the Congresbalie and reception rooms.

Vertigo building

Since 2002, after a major renovation, the Department of the Built Environment has been based in the Vertigo building. Vertigo is located in the southwest corner of the TU/e campus, close to the central station and the city.


By bike

Guests who come to the TU/e campus on bike can park their bike in the (indoor) cycle parkings. 

By train

When you arrive at Eindhoven central station, walk down the ramp at the railway station, turn right and exit through the north side towards the bus station. Walk 25 meters to the right and you will see the university buildings. Cross at the traffic light and follow the winding path towards the TU/e campus.
The path on the right side of the campus, called Prof. Dr. Dorgelo Avenue, is suitable for wheelchair users.

By car

All motorways to and around Eindhoven (A2, A50, A58, A67 and A270) lead the way to the campus. Follow the 'Centrum' directions on the small blue signs, until you see 'University'.
